I've lived in Los Angeles my entire life... 49 years. Except for 4 years in San Fransisco to attend college and 6 months in Washington, DC to do an internship at a television station during my junior year of college. So I am always up for finding a new spot that I have not visited before or even known of ... always a surprise to me to learn of a new eatery that's been around along time.After Harrison & Spencer's baseball game this morning, a bunch of the Dad's were taking the boys for Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches. Of course my meat eating boys wanted to join in. So off we went to find Philly West Bar & Grill on Westwood Boulevard in Westwood. Never heard of the place, but I was up for the adventure.
What a surprise. It's a little hole in the wall joint that serves one of the best beef sandwiches for 5 bucks! We gobbled our yummy sandwiches while 3 huge TV monitors played the college football games. To say my boys and their teammates were happy is an understatement! Watching them mow down their Philly steak sandwiches was so fun and I was so happy to find a new divvy bar & eatery! Can't wait to go again!
